I’m gonna get a lot of hate for this. But seriously, we need to get over 9/11. Not forget though. But when a single event has caused two wars, hate for muslims, caused the government to pass draconian “security” laws, and make life generally terrible for Americans and citizens of the world in general, we really need to stop focusing on it. Please, remember what happened that fateful day. Remember the people we lost. But do not let those memories start to take the form of vengeance and paranoia.

As for slavery,  yeah it was terrible, but again, when you blame EVERY SINGLE ONE of your problems on racism and slavery of your ancestors, I have absolutely no respect for you. I never hear Jewish people doing that in regards to the holocaust. And six million of them died there.

I apologize for this post, but this picture sparked that “I’m gonna be passionate about something real quick” thing inside me.
